• Develop and apply mathematical and machine learning approaches to solve research challenges in national security
• Integrate advanced mathematical techniques with machine learning to analyze complex systems
• Produce methods for analyzing data systems, including knowledge graphs and semantic databases

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to connect foundational research to engineering and operations

• Must have received a PhD within the past five years or within the next eight months from an accredited college or university
• Strong mathematical background with expertise in topology, algebra, geometry, or category theory
• Proficiency in programming with Python
• Experience working with knowledge graphs and complex systems data
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Prior publications using mathematical techniques from relevant fields
• Experience in deep learning or mechanistic interpretability
• Familiarity with advanced data analytics and machine learning methodologies
