The Occupational Therapist at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy provides occupational therapy consultations and services in accordance with the Interdisciplinary team’s care plan, devising customized interventions tailored to each patient’s age and unique condition, and delivering informative in-service programs as necessary to educate Hospice staff and volunteers on occupational therapy activities.
Minimum Qualifications- Current unrestricted Washington State license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience in occupational therapy practice, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads.
- Computer skills include proficiency in using relevant software for documentation and patient care planning.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
Minimum Requirements
- Available to work two shifts per month.
- Available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work two holidays per twelve-month period.
- Eligibility for 401(k) plan (3% agency contribution and 2% agency matching after 1 year of continuous employment and at least 1080 hours worked).
- Holiday pay for worked holidays.
- Sick time earned on an accrual basis.
- Mileage reimbursement at 0.72 cents per mile.
- Support and adherence to the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Participate in education and outreach activities to promote agency programs, including hospice care, advanced planning, and bereavement services.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with agency policies, procedures, and practices.
- Protect patient and agency information per HIPAA guidelines; access information on a need-to-know basis.
- Maintain reliable personal transportation; valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance per state requirements.
- Satisfy state and agency health requirements by providing proof of immunization, declinations, or approved accommodations as applicable.
- Pass criminal background and drug screenings.
- Meet the physical and environmental requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs.
- Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training by designated deadlines.
- Maintain current licensure(s) and certification(s) required for the role.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.

Premium: $2.00/hour per diem
