This mid‑level engineering position offers a variety of challenging opportunities in structural engineering and an excellent pathway to advance your career. The role is hybrid – you will work in‑office 3 days per week while enjoying flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a team of structural engineers and interface with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Guide the work of less experienced project team members.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using state‑of‑the‑art computer tools.
- Develop design calculations, specifications, and support designers with drawing development.
- Travel to client and vendor offices as needed for design reviews, plant site locations, construction coordination, and field verification of designs.
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
- 3+ years of experience in structural design and analysis, including AISC steel and ACI concrete.
- Proficient with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP
2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS. - Knowledge of design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- MSCE degree.
- Experience with design and analysis of power plant and/or industrial structures.
- On‑site construction support experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
