Join Our Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Make a Difference in Women's Health

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology professionals to provide expert care in a busy, high-acuity practice. This long-term locum opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting emergent cases and collaborating with a team committed to excellence in women's healthcare. Play a vital role in managing complex cases such as hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopies, IUD insertions, postoperative complications, and exploratory laparotomies, all while providing exceptional patient care.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience managing high-acuity cases and emergent situations
• Ability to work independently during 24-hour in-house call shifts
• Excellent clinical and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations with professionalism and competence

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience working with midwives or in collaborative obstetrics teams
• Prior experience in a hospital or emergency setting
• Proficiency with minimally invasive gynecologic procedures
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency program
• At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in a similar setting
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work scheduled dates from March through July 2026
• Willingness to work in-hospital on call shifts, with hourly compensation
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must possess or obtain necessary state licensure and credentials
• No overtime applications unless staying beyond scheduled 24-hour shift
