Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience managing emergent obstetric and gynecologic cases (e.g., hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertions, abscess management, post-hysterectomy complications, exploratory laparotomy)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently during 24-hour in-house call shifts

• Prior experience working in emergency settings or trauma units
• Familiarity with hospital protocols involving emergent surgeries and procedures
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, ideally with emergent care exposure

• Ability to cover scheduled in-house call shifts on specific dates, including weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work additional hours if needed beyond scheduled 24-hour shifts (OT not automatically applied)
• Compensation supported via hourly pay rate
• Must comply with all applicable licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
