About Us
The Brydon Group is a Washington D.C.
-based private equity firm that partners with outstanding mid-career executives to acquire business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G), and healthcare software and services businesses. Brydon is currently investing out of its Fund III whichclosedin July 2025.
As an Operations Intern at The Brydon Group, you will support a growing firm across a range of day-to-day operational functions during Summer 2026. You will work closely with Brydon's operations and communications team, gaining hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a fast-paced private equity firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, take ownership of office operations, and contribute to a high-performing team.
CoreResponsibilities
- Firm Operations Support
- Assist with day-to-day operations of our Washington, D.C. office, including vendor coordination and supply management
- Support calendar coordination for key firm meetings and events, including board meetings, investor meetings, and quarterly offsites
- Event Support
- Assist with logistics and planning for firm events held in our DC office and offsite
- Support venue research, scheduling, catering coordination, and travel logistics
- Administrative & Project Support
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Take on ad hoc special projects across the firm as priorities arise
Assist with codifying our office operations procedures and improving our processes
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working with limited direction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Genuine interest in private equity, finance, or professional services
This role is in-person and on-site at our Washington, D.C. office.
CompensationCompensation is commensurate with experience and expected to be $18 to $20 / hour. Brydon Group interns gain meaningful exposure to private equity firm operations and direct access to senior leadership.
