Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring seamless day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to handle multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.

- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

- Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoicing and tracking payments.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and up-to-date.

- Monitor financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external use.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

- Maintain organized records for audits and other financial reviews.

- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Ensure adherence to contract timelines and deliverables.

Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.

- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation practices.

- Ability to effectively manage and organize financial records.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
