Hiring immediately. Flex Security Officers in the Richland, MS area. Pay rate: $16.39 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proven experience in a truck gate work environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable means of transportation and communication.
• Must be available to work weekends.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The Flex Officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers while protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

The scheduling parameters and expectations for a Flex Officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post.

• You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; while you may work at a specific post for several weeks, this will not be a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule; others may come at short notice to cover for an absent employee.
• You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance that falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable, communicate this with your supervisor so they know not to schedule you.
• For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. Refusing more than 20% of such shifts could negatively impact your employment status.

High School diploma or equivalent.
