Contract Role:
Corporate Security Officer in Richfield, MN
Duration: 12 months contract
Pat range: $19.93 – 21.36/hr on w2 (all inclusive)
Job description:As the Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for directly and indirectly providing safety, security and professional customer service to all employees, vendors, and visitors at the Richfield Campus while working a variety of security posts. You will utilize a variety of technology-based systems to support access control, yard management, and video surveillance. You will support fostering a strong security culture within the organization by promoting security awareness and accountability at all levels.
Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are crucial for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and information.
- Monitor and respond to incidents related to physical access control, video surveillance and yard management systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and helping educate employees and visitors on safety and security policies and procedures.
- Understand and support a variety of security posts throughout the Richfield Campus including participating in physical security checks of the interior and exterior of the facility (which may include extended standing, and walking stairs).
- Respond to all campus emergencies including but not limited to injuries, medicals, and severe weather incidents.
- Conduct routine equipment and safety checks to ensure equipment is operational and initiate repair/replacement of defective equipment.
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of physical security experience in retail, supply chain, hospitality, corporate or related setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft 356 products (e.g., Teams, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Minnesota Driver’s license or ability to obtain one
- High School/GED Equivalent
- First Aid/CPR/AED certified
- Proven ability to apply sound judgement and use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to engage and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization
