EUC Level 1 Help Desk (1-year contract) – Richfield, MN

Genesis
10 is currently looking for an EUC Level 1 Help Desk for a 1-year contract project for a client in Richfield, MN. This position is an on‑site role.

Compensation: $17.00-20 per hour

Summary

Provide first-level, onsite technical support to corporate employees, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues, and escalating complex problems as necessary. The ideal candidate will utilize a knowledge base and troubleshooting procedures to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Perform initial triage of technical issues, including hardware, software, network, and access-related concerns.
  • Utilize a knowledge base to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve common technical problems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 or appropriate IT teams with detailed documentation.
  • Provide basic support for enterprise applications, operating systems, and productivity software.
  • Assist with password resets, account management, and access provisioning.
  • Document all support activities and solutions in the IT ticketing system.
  • Set up and configure workstations, peripherals, and office IT equipment.
  • Educate end-users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
  • Support IT team with additional tasks, including asset management and software installations.
Basic Requirements
  • Direct experience with workstations, peripherals, printers, and other office IT equipment.
  • Strong customer service mindset and a positive attitude when interacting with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business teams across the organization.
  • Proactive problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring that processes are strictly adhered to and ticket detail is provided to all stakeholders.
  • This position requires onsite presence at the corporate office, with standard business hours and occasional after‑hours support as needed.
  • The role will involve lifting and moving IT equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified:
    Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now).
