What You’ll Do:
- Provide Hands-On Care
:
Assist with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, and transportation, fostering independence. - Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management
:
Help individuals overcome behavioral challenges with compassionate, person-centered care; work on tailored outcomes and behavior guidance plans as needed. - Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment
:
Maintain a clean, safe space to help individuals reach personal goals. - Mentor & Guide
:
Supervise, provide positive reinforcement, and guide individuals; assist with staff scheduling and maintain consistency in programming and communication. - Household Management
:
Coordinate services including finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition, and household management.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 2 years of experience in delivering significant behavioral health services with demonstrated de-escalation, conflict resolution, positive support, and person-centered approaches.
- At least 1 year of lead staff experience in residential services or a two-year degree in a related field.
- Ability to understand and implement behavior support plans (BSP), treatment plans, functional assessments, ISP, and person-centered plans.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passion for Helping Others
:
Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety) - Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation
