Fraser School provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where children learn, play, and grow from 6 weeks old until their first day of kindergarten. Our mission is to build a community of inclusion that allows all people to belong and thrive. As a Parent Aware 4-Star rated and accredited program, we maintain small class sizes of 12-16 children with at least two staff members per classroom to ensure personalized care and support.

• Post-secondary credits in Early Childhood Education or related area.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (Fraser-provided) must be maintained.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.
• Ability to work independently and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.

• Run the classroom, including curriculum planning, child assessment, communication, and conferences.
• Implement curriculum, adapt lessons for all children's needs and abilities, provide 1:1 support as needed.
• Welcome and meet with parents as needed.
• Observe and report on the well-being of children.
• Coach Assistant Teachers in the classroom.
• Provide ongoing written and verbal communication to families about their child’s development.
