The Software Developer role for Systemates, Inc. contributes across the full software development life cycle, with a strong focus on daily development activities. This includes designing and building new features, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging to ensure smooth functionality, and writing thorough unit tests to support long‑term stability. The Software Developer also collaborates with cross‑functional teams, participates in code reviews, and contributes to ongoing improvements in performance, quality, and overall user experience within the Project mates platform.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain backend features, APIs, and services that support the Project mates platform.
- Troubleshoot and debug code while writing thorough unit tests to ensure stability, performance, and long‑term quality.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams both onshore and offshore to support system integration and backend alignment.
- Evaluate existing application architecture and recommend enhancements that improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to standardizing backend processes, patterns, and best practices.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on backend development experience using .NET or .NET Core.
- Strong proficiency in C# and SQL, with extensive experience writing and optimizing stored procedures.
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, RESTful API development, and service‑oriented patterns.
- Experience working within a sproc‑heavy environment and optimizing database interactions for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with common authentication and authorization approaches used in .NET environments, such as OAuth 2.0.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable and scalable technical solutions.
This is a hybrid full‑time role based out of our Richardson, TX office. Monday‑Thursday will be spent in‑office and Friday is a work‑from‑home day.
