Richardson, TX – This position is 100% onsite at our headquarters, requiring attendance in‑office five days a week, Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the overall technical architecture and design for SAP S/4 HANA EWM and integration with ERP, TMS and other software systems.
- Accountable for software delivery, including continuous improvement practices and principles.
- Document major processes and development milestones.
- Stay up to date with technological trends and industry best practices.
- Develop and support enterprise architecture strategies, guiding principles, processes, policies, and standards.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of application systems and industry requirements.
- Analyze business and user needs and follow through the full development life cycle.
- Modify, maintain, and update complex ERP configuration and program routines.
- Educate others in workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules or other application systems.
- Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the EWM system or other ERP application systems.
- Monitor developers in software development methods, processes, and implementation of those methods.
- Manage project plan, scope, risk, and resources.
- Act as team leader for project teams.
- Require periodic travel to visit distribution centers and plants to collaborate with teams.
- Ensure solutions align with the IT long‑term strategy.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- 4‑year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience configuring, deploying, and managing EWM solutions.
- 5+ years of functional experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management with at least one end‑to‑end implementation on SAP S/4 HANA EWM.
- Solid knowledge in SAP EWM material data integrations, inbound, outbound, and internal movements warehouse processes.
- Experience integrating with shop floor systems and process orders is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience configuring features in SAP EWM such as complex storage types, put away and stock removal strategies, handling unit management, palletization, wave management, replenishment, cycle counting, physical inventory, and custom development.
- Knowledge of EWM integration with ECC logistics execution and inventory management.
- Good understanding of ABAP development, debugging, and custom objects such as BADIs, functional modules, and ALV reports.
- Experience working with business to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Experience in software development/architecture and enterprise application architecture methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of development tools, design standards, best practices, and architecture frameworks.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Compensation
:
This is a salaried exempt role. Starting salary range is $112,000‑$147,000 annually. Employees are also eligible for an annual bonus per the Company’s plan and are not eligible for overtime.
