As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Petri Electric, you'll be responsible for:
- Operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and other excavation equipment for trenching and material handling
- Performing precise and efficient excavation for underground electrical systems
- Following blueprints, project plans, and safety protocols
- Conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance
- Working with site supervisors, electricians, and crew members to complete projects on time
- Maintaining a professional, safety-first mindset

- 2+ years of experience operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, or similar equipment
- Strong understanding of trenching techniques, underground utilities, and soil conditions
- Ability to read and follow electrical site plans and construction blueprints
- Valid CDL (preferred, but not required)
- Equipment certifications required for machinery you operate
- A commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
