Field Technician General Labor

Overview

Mosquito Squad Plus of Dallas has an opening for a mosquito misting system technician or installer. Experience in pest control, mosquito control, mosquito misting systems is preferred. Experience selling mosquito misting systems is a plus. Must be dependable and mechanically proficient to help install and service pesticide misting systems.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus commissions.

• Review daily route assignment and efficiently load truck
• Follow route assignment and drive safely
• Politely and graciously greet client (if home) and explain day s procedure
• Install and service mosquito misting systems, apply Mosquito Squad Protective Barrier Treatments and other applications as trained
• Inspect properties, graph new system details, create proposal, educate new clients on misting systems, and close sales on new systems
• Notify client when complete and expertly explain any unusual findings and answer questions
• Complete all required forms accurately and on time
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition

• Experience in pest control, mosquito misting systems
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Write short, detailed correspondence
• Effectively present information to clients in one-on-one and small group settings
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Team player
• Drivers license, safe driving record and reliable transportation to get to work
• Carry 65 pound backpack blower, often through wooded or uneven terrain
• Perform duties safely and effectively in various weather conditions
• Pass drug screen test
