This is a full-time, on-site role for a Strategic Account Manager – Data Center Solutions based in Richardson, TX. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing accounts, and building relationships with key customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to support customer needs and optimize solutions for data center applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the data center and cloud infrastructure market
- Sell fiber optic cables, DAC, AOC, and rack solutions to hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation customers
- Manage customer relationships from qualification through closing and post-sale support
- Work closely with engineering and operations to define solutions, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Stay current on data center trends, connectivity standards, and competitive products
- Strong Sales, Sales Management, and Account Management skills to drive business growth and maintain key relationships
- Exceptional Customer Service capabilities to respond to client needs and ensure satisfaction
- Strong Analytical Skills to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage large accounts effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in data center or optical communication industry is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field
