IT Business Development Representative (MSP)

We are a reputable Cloud and Managed Service provider servicing various SMB clients in the greater Dallas area. We are a one-stop shop for anything IT-related, including business advisory, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, helpdesk, workforce solutions, etc.

We currently have a need for an IT Business Development Representative. The role involves finding, developing, and bringing in new MSP Business Accounts by selling solutions that meet clients' IT-related business objectives. The representative will sign these clients up and assist with the transition to the Service Desk team to ensure a smooth handover and foster long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate must have experience selling IT Solutions within a Managed Service Provider environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Sign new Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) clients through company sales strategies
  • Prospect, network, develop, and create relationships with key decision makers to convert into new MRR clients
  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Negotiate and close new business deals
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques across our full suite of products
  • Support the Service Team to increase revenue with existing clients
Experience

Required:
  • Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider is REQUIRED
  • At least 1+ years of IT sales experience selling IT services in the MSP space is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows OS, Azure, O365, Cisco products, Windows Servers, Security solutions, etc.
