Quality Assurance Manager Job in Richardson, TX

Wireless CCTV, LLC ("WCCTV") located in Richardson, TX is a market leader for rapid deployment, mobile surveillance systems specifically designed to deliver video securely and efficiently via 4G LTE networks. WCCTV is looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems; monitor processes; and address any quality issues. The role is pivotal in maintaining product quality, improving processes, and minimizing product defects and service failures.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems: create a QMS and maintain procedures, standards, and documentation for quality control.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality: conduct inspections, tests, and audits to identify product and process defects, non‑compliance, and opportunities for improvement (OFI).
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and drive the returns process.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues: analyze root causes of problems and customer complaints, implement a Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) process, and apply corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with all departments to resolve quality‑related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Manage and train staff: provide guidance and conduct training on all quality control procedures.
  • Report and analyze: compile data, generate reports and KPIs, and provide insights on quality performance to management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance product quality, optimize processes, and reduce waste.
  • Implement appropriate processes, KPIs, and reporting to drive a U.S.‑wide EH&S program.
  • Set up and lead a Health & Safety committee reporting to company management.
  • Responsible for the company EH&S program and compliance with all appropriate regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Certification from professional bodies such as ASQ (American Society for Quality).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Kaizen and LEAN Manufacturing methodologies preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements in the industry.
  • Understanding of production processes and quality criteria.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • In‑depth understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Effective communication with team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality control applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in inspections, documentation, and analysis.
  • Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines.
Benefits

Work hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm onsite at the company headquarters in Richardson, TX.

Annual base pay up to $85,000, depending on experience.

10 days paid vacation (increases with length of service) plus seven paid company holidays.
