Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Hospice LVN to join our team! You will be responsible for working with the DON in Office Mon-Fri. If a patient needs to be seen you will attend to the patients needs and will get paid to do a visit as well.

• Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
• Provide basic patient care and treatment
• Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
• Educate and update patients on medical treatments

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Vocational / Practical Nursing.
• Licensure:
  State license as a Licensed Vocational / Practical nurse, or a multi-state license issued by a member of the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Current driver’s license.
• Experience:
  
  Two year experience as a Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse in a clinical care setting, Hospice experience preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice;
  Good interpersonal skills.
• Transportation:
  Reliable transportation; valid and current auto liability insurance.

$50,000.00 Per year plus visit pay as well.
