As the Director of Nursing
, you will oversee the clinical operations of our home health care services, managing a team of nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals. You will ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care while promoting a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.
- Leadership & Supervision
:
Manage, mentor, and support a team of registered nurses, home health aides, and other clinical staff. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team. - Patient Care Oversight
:
Ensure that all patients receive appropriate and individualized care based on their medical needs. Develop and implement care plans in coordination with physicians, family members, and other healthcare providers. - Compliance & Quality Assurance
:
Ensure the agency adheres to all regulatory requirements, including local, state, and federal guidelines for home health care. Oversee quality assurance programs and audits to maintain the highest standards of care. - Staff Training & Development
:
Lead training programs for new hires and provide ongoing education to clinical staff on best practices in patient care and compliance with regulations. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with physicians, social workers, and other health professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Budgeting & Resource Management
:
Help manage the operational budget for the clinical department. Oversee staffing schedules, supplies, and equipment necessary for patient care.
- Education
:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher. A Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is a plus. - Experience
:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in home health care or a related setting. - Licensing
:
Valid Texas RN license in good standing. - Skills
:- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
