Are you a creative strategist with a passion for building impactful brands? GAINSCO is seeking a Brand Manager to define and advance our brand as a strategic asset that drives growth, strengthens market position, and unifies the customer journey. This role combines brand governance, design leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a consistent, compelling presence across all channels.
What does a BRAND MANAGER at GAINSCO do?- Build, refine, and sustain GAINSCO’s brand vision and identity across corporate, talent, product, and agent-facing experiences.
- Lead execution of visual identity across internal and external channels.
- Develop visual concepts for campaigns, presentations, print and digital collateral, and events.
- Create brand assets, toolkits, templates, and enablement materials for non-designers.
- Partner with teams to ensure brand alignment in marketing, UX, and customer-facing materials.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines, visual systems, and voice/tone standards.
- Act as the primary owner of brand governance, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with UX Design to deliver unified customer experience.
- Present concepts effectively to stakeholders and facilitate inclusive design processes.
- Oversee brand-related vendors, including print and promotional partners.
- Manage quarterly promotional item replenishment and ensure timely delivery of sales kits.
- Prioritize marketing intake requests and translate brand strategy into actionable goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferred focus in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Experience:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in brand management or brand marketing.
- Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience preferred.
- Personal Auto (B2B) experience is a plus.
- Proven success developing or relaunching brand identities and driving adoption of brand standards.
- Advanced graphic design skills and mastery of visual identity systems.
- Experience leading cross-functional brand initiatives and managing creative contributors.
- Familiarity with agile marketing practices and project management workflows.
Other skills and abilities:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to influence and enable non-designers to produce on-brand work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma, Canva, and collaboration tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (Asana).
