Assembler II at Jabil Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Assembler II to join our team. This role is at the heart of our production line, focusing on the back end and box-build assembly of our products. You will play a key role in ensuring that every product is built to our Jabil’s quality standards and shipped on schedule, directly contributing to our operational excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assemble products and systems according to detailed instructions, including visual aids. This includes using various tools, such as torque drivers and hardware, to meet production rate goals.
- Manage inventory by receiving and storing incoming materials using the FIFO (first in, first out) system. Scan required components from various locations like flow racks, bins, or Kanban.
- Maintain proficiency and certifications in multiple operations, including Assembler I, Router, Press Fit, RTV, DF Pre-Kitting, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting, and Pack‑Out.
- Perform physical inventory counts and execute the purge process as needed.
- Maintain production equipment through preventative maintenance.
- Uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety, health, and security policies and procedures.

Skills:
Must be able to operate a personal computer and use related software, including advanced knowledge of the company's software packages. - Reading and Comprehension:
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend simple correspondence, memos, and visual aids. - Math
Skills:
Must be able to calculate parts quantities and perform basic math, including computing rates, ratios, and percentages. - Problem‑Solving:
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Communication:
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
