The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment in compliance with all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and food safety policies. This role supports production operations by cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing areas, equipment, restrooms, and breakrooms, completing required sanitation documentation, and assisting with additional tasks as assigned by management. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and adherence to safety and workplace policies in a regulated manufacturing setting.
Job Summary and General Duties- Must adhere to all company GMP’s, established SOP’s and all Food Safety policies.
- Sanitation associate will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning Manufacturing areas.
- Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the floors.
- Refills dispensers as needed, this includes but not limited to; towels, hand soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other dispenser(s) as directed by supervisor.
- Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms and breakrooms.
- Fill out proper checklists associated with sanitation procedures.
- Working around equipment and machinery.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist or perform tasks given by management to support business needs
- Ability to move material & equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with no cellular devices, jewelry and other objects that may fall into blending equipment.
- Ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
- Ability to work in a timely manner.
- Ability to work responsibly and independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Detail oriented.
- Miscellaneous duties as requested.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 1 year working experience.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
