Accounting Manager​/Supervisor

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Richardson, Texas. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial standards, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing multi-entity accounting operations and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general and operational accounting processes.

- Lead month-end close activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.

- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to maintain audit readiness.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Manage a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial transparency and business objectives.

- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.

- Address and resolve complex accounting issues, conducting root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

- Provide technical guidance on accounting matters and support scalable growth initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting

- CPA certification or active candidacy is strongly preferred.

- At least 8 years of accounting experience, with managerial experience included

- Experience in both public accounting and corporate environments

- Demonstrated ability to manage accounting operations across multiple locations or entities

- Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and financial statement audits.

- Excellent analytical and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and drive results.
