Power BI Developer
Richardson, TX — Contract Role — Onsite from Day 1
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and clients to translate data into meaningful insights and deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
Strong Expertise in:- Power BI report development (visualizations, DAX, data modeling, troubleshooting, and optimization)
- DAX Studio
- ALM Toolkit
- Tabular Editor
- Experience with SSRS and Paginated Report Builder.
- Experience with Power Automate and Snowflake (preferred).
- Knowledge of Generative AI (Gen AI) concepts.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments.
- Business Analysis (BA) experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional team members to gather requirements and ensure Power BI solutions meet business needs.
- Work closely with clients to identify requirements, collect appropriate data, and deliver valuable data products.
- Design and develop Power BI reports based on business requirements.
- Develop visualizations, data models, and dashboards using Power BI.
- Optimize DAX queries and calculations for performance and accuracy.
- Perform report troubleshooting and optimization, including DAX, data models, visualizations, and Power Query (M Query).
- Provide actionable insights from datasets in a timely manner.
- Communicate complex findings and ideas in clear, business-friendly language through presentations and visualizations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience writing stored procedures and views.
