AWS Architect

Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to lead the end-to-end solution architecture of cloud-based platforms and applications on AWS. This role involves translating business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to define standards, guide implementation, and ensure solutions align with enterprise strategies and AWS best practices.

AWS Architect

$170,000 – $200,000 annually

Richardson, TX (2 days a month onsite)

• 7+ years in cloud engineering, solution architecture, or Dev Ops roles
• 4+ years designing and leading AWS solution architectures in production environments
• Expertise in AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Security Hub)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK using Type Script, or Terraform/Cloud Formation
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, and multi-account management
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect – Professional, Security Specialty, or Dev Ops Engineer (preferred)
• Ability to guide development teams through architecture decisions and implementations

• Lead the development of end-to-end architecture solutions on AWS, including application, data, network, and security layers
• Translate business needs into scalable technical designs and produce detailed architecture diagrams
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
• Design and maintain secure AWS landing zones, networks, and multi-account strategies
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Support cloud security, compliance, and operational requirements
• Guide teams on cloud-native design, workload modernization, and platform enhancements
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability, resiliency, and cost optimization of cloud solutions
