Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Lead whose primary responsibility be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.
Responsibilities- Provide Tier 3 Support for NMA including code fixes, preparing enhancements, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, thoroughly testing any software changes, successfully building and deploying any software changes to production.
- Assist the Tier 2 Support team as needed, including analyzing and responding to user (end-user or Tier 1, Tier 2 developers) questions and problems, administering user access, providing routine system maintenance, maintaining system interfaces, remediating system overload issues.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate.
- Position may require travel to project locations.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution or consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Minimum 4 years of experience using VOS on a Stratus platform.
- Minimum 4 years of experience programming in PL/1 and/or

- Experience with NMA.
- Experience with telecom OSS, Ericsson/Telcordia/Bellcore.
- Experience working in a high-availability, 24/7 environment.
- Experience with interfacing applications on multiple platforms.
- Experience with Unix/Linux.
- Experience with IBM mainframes.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
