Job Description:

The role is multifaceted: responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and more, as well as mentoring and transferring knowledge to BCBS’s full-time staff. The team has some Tableau experience but is largely self-taught and lacks expertise in advanced data visualization reports. Candidates must be comfortable demonstrating solutions to small groups (4-6 people), so strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. The candidate will receive requirements and translate them into workable solutions, requiring some analysis and SQL experience to extract and manipulate data, preferably with Teradata SQL, though ANSI SQL is acceptable.

Additional Information:

This project is for BCBS’ HI-Touch accounts, specifically HEB and American Airlines, providing high-level interaction and service due to their enterprise status.

The work environment is business casual, deadline-driven, within a small, IT-centric, customer-focused group that handles analytics and information management, typically working 8-5.
