The HR Advisor provides comprehensive support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies. This role contributes to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with business objectives, supporting employee relations, training, compliance, HR operations, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations- Advise managers and employees on grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct investigations and resolve workplace conflicts while ensuring consistent policy application.
- Support initiatives to build and maintain positive employee relations.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures according to legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide guidance on employment law and ensure organizational compliance.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Train managers on effective performance management techniques.
- Identify skills gaps and coordinate employee training programs to support professional growth.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver insights and recommendations through HR data analysis.
- Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Address workplace safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR advisory or related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience handling sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
