OverviewThis position is responsible for developing and executing education strategy in alignment with the goals of a specific line of business and with established learning methodology and culture. The role includes instruction design for instructor‑led, web‑based, and blended solutions, fostering consultative partnerships across the organization, analyzing performance gaps, and recommending effective learning solutions. The scope also involves coaching and developing team members, maintaining client‑facing relationships, and independently managing multiple complex initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute education strategy aligned with line‑of‑business goals.
- Create instructional strategies for instructor‑led, web‑based, and blended solutions.
- Analyze performance gaps and learning needs, recommend strategic solutions, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Foster and maintain strong ongoing client‑facing relationships.
- Autonomously manage multiple complex initiatives and coordinate communication plans.
- Collaborate with customers and internal work groups, and evaluate learning and business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development or related field plus 4 years of experience in instructional design or performance consulting; or 8 years of experience in instructional design or performance consulting.
- Consultative communication and negotiation skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and visual communication.
- Technical aptitude and analytical skill set.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently and efficiently.
- Sound inductive and deductive reasoning.
- Experience working with others to analyze information and evaluate results to identify appropriate solutions.
- Ability to overcome obstacles by developing solutions to meet individual and departmental goals.
- Capability to apply accepted and emerging adult learning theories and instructional design trends on the job.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Development or related field.
- 3 years of learning and development experience in a corporate or business setting.
- Ability to establish and nurture partnerships with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts.
This role is HYBRID with an in‑office requirement of 3 days a week.
Compensation$61,500.00 - $ (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location).
