Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audiologist based in Richardson and Allen, TX. The Audiologist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating individuals with hearing disorders. Primary responsibilities include administering hearing tests, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, educating patients on hearing care, and providing solutions tailored to individual needs. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining accurate patient records, and staying updated on advancements in audiology practices.
Qualifications- Expertise in hearing diagnostics, fitting hearing aids, and providing rehabilitation services
- Experience with all of the major hearing manufacturers
- Knowledge of auditory and vestibular system evaluation and management
- Strong patient care and counseling skills for educating patients and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients and healthcare professionals
- A Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist in the state of Texas
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other audiology-related technologies
- Commitment to continued professional development and staying current with advances in audiology
