Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant II who will provide clinical expertise to ensure our patients receive exceptional care. If you believe in the significance of patient care as we do, we invite you to apply!
* X-Ray Certification Required* Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing patient appointments, including scheduling and cancellations.
- Facilitating patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Entering charges and payments accurately.
- Handling incoming calls professionally.
- Verifying insurance information and patient demographics.
- Collecting co-payments and outstanding balances.
- Performing administrative tasks and supporting nursing staff.
- Assisting in collecting patient specimens.
- Taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Preparing examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
- Administering injections and applying casts, splints, and dressings as required.
- Preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments, ensuring proper sterilization.
- Assisting physicians in minor surgeries and physical exams.
- Reviews and adheres to all Physician Services policies and procedures, adhering to the Code of Conduct.
- Coordinating patient care continuity with external organizations.
- Engaging in data collection and health outcomes reporting.
A minimum of one year of direct clinical patient care experience is required. Certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is mandatory. Recent graduates must obtain certification within 60 days of employment. Active x-ray certification must be held upon hire.
