TMS Technician

Geode Health offers advanced treatment programs for depression across our practice locations. We are looking for a passionate TMS technician that is motivated by joining a quickly growing organization. The TMS technician is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting. The TMS technician will be responsible for administering TMS treatment under the direction of our treating physician.

The TMS Technician will also be providing support to our clinical team and patients during TMS treatment.

* Job Responsibilities:

** Conducts TMS screenings to determine patient has been qualifications as potential TMS candidate

Ability to identify qualification requirements for TMS through screening consult

Participating in collaborating with our billing team to obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance benefits

Ability to objectively document TMS encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations

Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

* Qualifications:

*** One year of patient care/mental health office setting preferred
* TMS technician experienced (preferred)
* Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression (preferred)
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong ability to multi-task
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
* Excellent computer skills
