The City of Murphy City Manager's Office seeks to add a Assistant to the City Manager to its dynamic team! The Assistant to the City Manager performs high‑level professional work in support of executive leadership. The position is also responsible for the administration, oversight, and execution of the City’s Economic Development program, which includes managing day‑to‑day programs and initiatives that support the city's economic development strategic plan.

Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm with after hours work required to attend assigned board meetings and Council Meetings.
Pay PlanThis opportunity is FLSA Exempt and budgeted on Pay Grade #39. The pay plan range below is shown to represent opportunities for growth and development within this opportunity. We are seeking to hire between the Min to Mid‑range of the pay grade shown dependent upon qualifications.
- Min: $82,571.07/annually
- Mid: $99,085.28/annually
- Max: $/annually
- Supports implementation of City economic development goals; monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of related programs and initiatives.
