ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED DAY 1. Top Secret Clearance is great, but not required.
Education:
STEM Degree and 5 years of prior experience; review other education/experience combinations in description.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal office hours.
Fully onsite between the Richardson and Cityline locations.
Position is year with the opportunity to extend.
Possible travel – 10%, domestic.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead network architecture, design, development, deployment, configuration, administration, and system integration of various physical and virtual network architectures.
- Virtualization administration & maintenance.
- Working in cloud & hybrid enterprise environments, including datacenter network & infrastructure security, and system boundary security.
- Translating business objectives & requirements into deployable Zero Trust & hybrid cloud solutions.
- Developing solutions for end-to-end network automations, including network orchestration across multi‑vendor & hybrid & multi‑cloud infrastructure.
- Provide customer technical design support to system/software specifications, design, proof‑of‑concept prototyping, and development activities.
- Provide technical direction for large‑scale network engineering projects, including operations, performance, testing, manufacturing, cost & schedule, & training.
- Contribute to technical proposal preparation and serve as subject‑matter expert in non‑advocate, internal, and customer reviews.
- Interface directly with customers to establish trusted & influential relationships.
- Lead & advise engineering managers, program managers, business development managers, product line managers, and component architects.
- Ensure development & management of technical risks and develop/execution mitigation plans.
- Help establish technical baselines for the team & participate in change review boards.
- This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret or Interim Top Secret.
- Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.).
- Active Secret clearance at a minimum.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field & minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with Networking.
- Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMware, ESXi, etc.).
- Experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
- Experience with Compliance frameworks (RMF, DFARS).
- Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.).
- Govt. Security Clearance (Collateral/Secret).
- Networking protocols, VMware, ESXi, Windows, System administrator, Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux, Cloud, Infrastructure, network infrastructure.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 – $70.00/hr.
