Principal Engineer, Logistics/Supportability Engineering (Onsite) – Raytheon Technologies, Richardson, TX
OverviewCollins Aerospace Central Support Services is seeking a highly-experienced Lifecycle Logistics/Supportability Engineer. The role supports integrated communication and avionics systems, acting as a senior core member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and handling the twelve Integrated Product Support Elements. This onsite position is based in Richardson, TX, with flexible working arrangements as business needs dictate.
What You Will Do- Work independently with minimal oversight; coach and develop junior team members on integrated product support activities.
- Perform and develop Maintenance Planning / Task Analysis.
- Conduct Life Cycle Cost/Cost of Ownership Analysis.
- Develop and execute Reliability-Centered and Condition-Based Maintenance requirements.
- Perform Spares Analysis.
- Conduct Trade Studies to illustrate cost/benefit of support alternatives.
- Carry out Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Identify common and peculiar support equipment requirements.
- Coordinate and drive discussions with Central Support Services leadership on resource planning and project execution.
- Develop and manage Supportability Engineering data inputs to Logistics Management Information/Logistics Product Data.
- Identify DMSMS drivers, develop DMSMS planning, evaluate and implement DMSMS resolutions.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Degree in STEM or comparable field plus minimum 8 years of relevant experience
* or* Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience. - Experience working with customers to define requirements.
- Experience defining support and maintenance requirements at organizational, intermediate, and depot levels for electronic equipment.
- Experience performing Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Condition-Based Maintenance analyses.
- Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., Windchill, Slic Wave, Power Log J2, EAGLE, COMPASS, CASA, OPUS, CATLOC, VMETRIC, CAMEO).
- Modeling experience using Excel and other general programming or modeling tools.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with Maintainability, Reliability, Safety, and Testability functional groups.
This is an onsite role. Employees will work primarily onsite, especially production and maintenance staff. Collaboration and innovation remain critical, and digital tools enable worldwide coordination.

Salary and BenefitsSalary range: 101,000 USD – 203,000 USD. Additional benefits depend on business unit and collective bargaining agreements. Incentive compensation may be available based on level and business needs.
