Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer; Onsite - Product Safety

Position: Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer (Onsite) - Product Safety
We are currently searching for a
** Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer
** to join our team in Richardson, TX or Cedar Rapids, IA.
** Qualifications YOU Must Have:
** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start.

Two (2) years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle, with knowledge of how to apply reliability and maintainability techniques to systems requirements

One (1) year of demonstrated experience supporting design and development teams to develop, assess, and verify Reliability & Maintainability related requirements for mission-critical systems
** Qualifications We Prefer:
** Knowledge of systems architectures and designs

Knowledge of basic circuit analysis and the ability to perform detailed analyses on complex systems

Experience planning and conducting Accelerated Stress Testing, or a willingness to learn and apply those techniques, such as Highly Accelerated Life Test processes (HALT), Reliability Enhancement Test (RET), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS)
Experience using industry recognized tools such as Relyence, Reliasoft, Windchill, or eXpress

Familiarity with agile development and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) Good presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of audiences Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and build trust with team members from many different backgrounds, including engineering management, engineering teams, program management, business development, support groups, and subcontractors

Experience in technical proposal preparation related to Reliability & Maintainability
