The Role
The Leasing Specialist provides marketing, sales, and customer service support to prospective residents and is involved in planning and executing a community marketing plan.
What You’ll Be Doing- Provide strong sales focus on each prospective and current customer.
- Be enthusiastic and efficient in coordinating the entire leasing process, meet and greet every customer via phone, email and in person.
- Manage leads from Yardi and follow up consistently with all prospects. Screen and approve qualified applicants while compiling paperwork and entering applications into the property management software.
- Be knowledgeable of community product to fit prospective customer needs and describe community amenities.
- Open and close all models daily, conduct pre‑showing inspections to keep units rent ready.
- Assist with creating marketing plan and strategy for the assigned community and maintain marketing material through ILS and websites.
- Create social media content to engage consumers and narrate lifestyle and experience of living at the community.
- Assist with maintaining a positive resident experience from initial contact through residency to move‑out, monitoring service scores and responding to resident inquiries.
- Provide new residents with a smooth transition, explaining the leasing and move‑in process clearly.
- On call as needed to cover for 24/7 coverage.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in a business‑related field or communications preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service atmosphere.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have leasing experience.
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office;
Entrata experience preferred. - Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must have an active and valid driver’s license.
