We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Construction Production Manager to join our team and help support day-to-day field operations across multiple job sites.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Construction Production Manager plays a critical supporting role in field production activities. This individual works closely with the Production Manager to ensure construction crews are aligned with the daily work plan, schedules are maintained, and the quality and safety standards of each project are upheld. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating daily work plans and activities for field crews and subcontractors.
- Support the tracking of labor hours, material usage, and jobsite progress.
- Help maintain daily reports, punch lists, and field documentation.
- Conduct jobsite walk-throughs to monitor safety, quality, and progress.
- Relay updates, instructions, and changes from Production Manager to the field.
- Address minor field issues promptly and escalate larger concerns as needed.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are ready and staged appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite environment.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction field operations or site supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and work scopes.
- Effective communicator with leadership presence in the field.
- Detail-oriented with good time management and organization skills.
- Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Excel) a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Competitive salary: $40,000 - $65,000 based on experience
