Accounting, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Posting journal entries to the general ledger
• Maintain the general ledger Chart of Accounts
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process journal entry uploads to the accounting system
• Ensures all invoices are processed and accounted for prior to monthly closing
• Process monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Prepares and review financial statements
• Prepares the annual budget
• Process Bank reconciliations
• Process payroll in the ADP system
• Enter new hires, terminations and personnel changes in the ADP system
• Process garnishments and reply to correspondences received
• Calculate monthly field operation bonuses
• Provides support for year-end external audits
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management

• 4 years of accounting experience
• Must be detail-oriented, accurate, organized and able to meet deadline
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Balance Sheet and P&L preparation experience
• Accounting degree required
• Proficiency with Quick Books accounting software a plus
• Experience with the ADP payroll system a plus
• Advanced level working knowledge of MS Office (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• 10 key by touch
