We are looking for an Account Receivable Assistant to join our growing team.
Primary Job Function: As an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Assistant
, you will support the accounting department by handling core AR responsibilities, including preparing invoices, posting customer payments, reconciling accounts, and conducting collections follow-up. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely cash flow, and ensuring clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime as required
Pay: $22.00 - 30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree or higher in accounting or business is preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience with Sage accounting software
- Experience with construction billing or progress invoicing
- Familiarity with lien releases, COIs, and job costing
