How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Controllership/Accounting team by managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles. Your expertise will enable you to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and analyze financial data to support audits and month-end/year-end close processes. This position is based out of Richardson, TX and follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days per week in the office.

• Maintaining accurate general ledger entries and ensuring compliance with accounting standards to uphold financial integrity.
• Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts on a regular basis to deliver precise financial data.
• Preparing and reviewing trial balances, balance sheets, and income statements that support informed business decisions.
• Supporting the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and expense reports, while ensuring timely collections and disbursements.
• Reconciling vendor and customer account balances to maintain transparency and accuracy.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities by preparing adjusting journal entries and accruals, ensuring financial statements are complete and submitted on time.
• Generating insightful financial reports for management review and analyzing variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assisting in budget preparation and forecasting to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies, while providing documentation and explanations during internal and external audits.
• Contributing to system and process improvements by maintaining accounting systems and documenting procedures for efficiency and consistency.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldwith 2-5 years of accounting experience OR 5-7 years of accounting experience in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP,BPC, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with internal and external audititors.
