This position with the Duininck Construction team offers the opportunity to operate heavy equipment on a variety of earthwork and grading projects, contributing directly to high-quality project outcomes and safe, reliable operations.

The Role:

* Safely operate a dozer to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.

* Read grade stakes and work with grade checkers, lasers, or GPS systems to maintain correct grade.

* Work closely with crew members and use hand signals to coordinate work and promote safe operations.

* Perform daily equipment inspections, lubrication, and routine maintenance to ensure safe operating condition.

* Report equipment repair or maintenance needs to the shop as required.

* Keep equipment clean and prepare equipment for transport when needed.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

* Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

Work Environment:

* Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

* Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit for extended periods.

* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

* Regularly work extended or overtime hours depending on project needs.

* Travel throughout Central & Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and the Eastern Dakotas.

* Strong understanding of equipment operation, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

* MSHA/OSHA awareness and commitment to regulatory compliance.

* Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a coordinated crew, and maintain a high standard of work quality.

* Willingness to travel to various project locations.

* A consistent focus on safety, performance, and teamwork.
