Beds: 32 (Avg. census: 17.5) Ratios: MS 5:1 | ICU 1:1–1:3 (Step-down type) | IMC 1:2–1:4 Requirements:
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS Common Cases: COPD, Pneumonia, AFib RVR, DKA, CIWA, Cardio patients
Skills:
IV starts, phlebotomy, EKG, telemetry monitoring, cardioversion, critical thinking, teamwork, time management Drips: RNs titrate drips including pressors, insulin, anticoagulants, epinephrine, nor epinephrine, vasopressin, angiotensin-II Unit Info: RNs read their own tele strips Charge nurse + house supervisor (charge takes assignment) 2 nurse aides per shift RT coverage 22 hrs/day (CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, vents)
Schedule:
Shift: 0500–1730 or 1700–0530 (30-min break) No block or self-scheduling Flex weekend & holiday Other:
Possible float to ED as support during codes/trauma Scrubs:
Navy blue (no hoodies) Orientation: 1 day Important:
Local = within 80 miles Must mention if clinician worked at Marshfield before (needs 6-month gap).
