Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Department: Operations

Reports To: Distribution Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) + OT as needed

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hr

Purpose of Position
To direct the daily activities of a warehouse or account, including labor scheduling, and proper utilization of space and equipment as directed by Distribution Manager.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to twist, squat and reach above shoulder level.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Position Expectations Productivity/Quality
  • As directed by Distribution Manager, plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Understand customer contract requirements.
  • Ensure SOP and customer work instructions are followed.
  • Direct and oversee job assignments and plan daily labor schedules.
  • Motivate and lead the team to achieve stated objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a productive work team by assisting the Distribution Manager in training and cross training of employees.
  • Assist Distribution Manager to ensure current and accurate inventory control for each account.
Safety & Security
  • Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
  • Report equipment and facility building/grounds damage and repairs.
