Approved Electrician – Clwyd Alyn Property Maintenance
Location: Flexible across North Wales | On-call rota required
Salary: £21,930 per year (plus additional on-call payments)
Hours: 37 per week | Monday–Friday

Clwyd Alyn Property Maintenance is looking for a Skilled Approved Electrician to join our Electrical Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality electrical installations, testing, and repairs across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring our homes and workplaces remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future.

As an Approved Electrician, you will:

• Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, testing, and repairs
  , including responsive and emergency works.
• Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and all relevant certification to a high standard.
• Work independently to diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently.
• Participate in a planned upgrade programme
  , including kitchens, bathrooms, heating, and void properties.
• Contribute to a resident-focused service
  , reflecting Clwyd Alyn’s values of Trust, Hope, and Kindness.
• Support and mentor colleagues or apprentices when required.
• Accurately maintain electronic certification and job records
  .
• Take part in a rotating on-call schedule (currently 1 week in
  7) with additional remuneration.

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who:

• Holds a Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and AM2
• Has City & Guilds 2382 (BS7671:2018) and City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)
• Has at least two years’ post-qualification experience
• Is confident working independently and supervising others when needed
• Understands and applies Health & Safety standards consistently
• Shares our values of Trust, Hope and Kindness in daily work
• Desirable: qualifications in Solar PV, EV Charging, Energy Storage
  , or in-date PASMA/IPAF training
