Nucar Toyota of North Kingstown is looking for a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team!

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing pre-owned vehicles directly from private sellers. This role drives used-car inventory growth by targeting high-quality vehicles outside traditional trade-in and auction channels. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, skilled in negotiations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead Generation & Outreach:
  Identify and engage potential sellers through online marketplaces, outbound campaigns, referrals, and community events.
• Lead Generation & Outreach:
  Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from individuals looking to sell vehicles.
• Vehicle Appraisal & Valuation:
  Use market data (KBB, vAuto, auction trends) to present competitive yet profitable purchase offers.
• Negotiation & Purchase Execution:
  Negotiate pricing and terms with private sellers to secure inventory that meets dealership standards.
• Negotiation & Purchase Execution:
  Complete all required paperwork, ensuring proper title transfer and compliance with state regulations.
• Negotiation & Purchase Execution:
  Coordinate transportation and inbound logistics for reconditioning or wholesale.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
  Work closely with the Used Car Manager to review condition, reconditioning needs, and frontline timelines.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
  Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, offers, acquisitions, and closing ratios.

  Provide weekly reporting on performance metrics and market trends.
