Associate Manufacturing Process Technician-NS

Location: West Greenwich

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Process Technician-NS with biotechnology company. This is a 12+ month contract position located in West Greenwich, RI.

Summary:
The Associate of Manufacturing will work in a dynamic production environment supporting commercial, clinical, and launch activities. Under general supervision, the employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is 100% onsite and requires local candidates only. The work schedule is a night swing shift (6:45 PM - 6:45 AM) on a C and D rotation, which includes weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on operations: set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
• Weigh out buffers/media per defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
• Perform and monitor critical processes with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
• Perform parts washing and sterilization activities.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, working in a clean room environment wearing steel toe shoes, full clean room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.
• Initiate and participate in quality deviation reports as required.
• Draft and revise documents (SOPs, MPs).
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
• Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (e.g., equipment logs, batch records).
• Work around high-pressure systems and occasionally move heavy equipment with powered industrial vehicles.
• Able to regularly lift up to 35lbs, push and pull objects that require up to 50lbs of force, and work on your feet for long durations.
• Perform physical movements including bending, reaching above the head, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and standing on portable stairs or ladders up to 6 feet high.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a science field OR a High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working in a clean room environment.
• Experience with cell culturing.
• Must have experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Proficient with the MS Office suite and possess strong computer skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience working effectively on a team in an environment where safety is a top priority.
• Ability to take direction well and demonstrate initiative.
• Must be available to work weekends and the specified night shift schedule.
• Candidates must be local to the West Greenwich, RI area; relocation is not available.
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.

Pay range: up to $32.10 per hour
