Overview
QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing to a world-class manufacturing environment in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities- Perform operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.
- Ensure quality & compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.
- Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing.
- Feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities.
- Document appropriate paperwork, understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participate in daily performance meetings.
- Use pallet jacks and manually wrap pallets.
- Move materials between areas, clean raw materials, retrieve and store inventory, and operate electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers.
- Use computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.
- Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation.
- May also be responsible for owning deviations.
- Identify, recommend and implement improvements related to CAPAs or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience or associate degree.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing inventory control.
- Strong work ethic and communication.
Shift: 7am
-7pm- 12 hours rotating two-week shift.
- Must be flexible with working days.
